OK,
so what's with the daft name?
As we've explained to so many people who have collared us for being out
on nights different to a 'Sunday' the name goes back
to 2001 when the site was launched for a strictly 'Sunday Night Crowd'
SundayNights.co.uk
was launched back at the very beginning of April 2001, people were beginning
to get online and we had an idea for a Bar Life Community On-Line where
people could meet up, chat and have a good time, we were pretty much the
first bar and clubbing community website to launch in Manchester and the
North West, the photo's have improved as technology has and the site has
seen several upgrades to the layout, interactivity and the logo/branding
Why did you call it SundayNights?
Sunday Night was the best night to go out in Ashton-u-Lyne which was the
'happening' place to be back in 2001 and had a Great Atmosphere for Music
and like-minded people, the website has since expanded into Stalybridge
with visits to Oldham, Huddersfield and Manchester
As the site has improved and developed we have kept the web-site name
the same as its firmly established. We like to call SundayNights our 'Bar
and Clubbing Community Website' more recently changing the logo
from co.uk to .com for a
stronger internet branding
Whats the Content?
Interactive Message Forum, Regular Photo Galleries, Cover-Girls, Live
Streaming DJ Mix shows,
Local Advertising & Promotions from our sponsors bar and club nights
How does the site work?
To use the site fully, you have to be a Registered Member, this allows
you to use the Forum. We do our best to visit as many bars/clubs in the
towns of Ashton, Stalybridge, Oldham & Manchester, this keeps our
Galleries updated with fresh photographs
What do we want the aims of the
site to be?
Its a Community On-Line, a place to meet and make new friends, a place
to have some time-out/skive to when at work, where we allow members to
have a positive voice for the Community ... and a bloody good gossip!
Whats the Visitor Rate for SundayNights?
The site has had a positive steady build since its launch with over 10,000
unique visitors every week
What type of people are visiting the site?
The Sites Visitors are mainly of drinking age, i.e: 18 to 30+ and from
the Tameside and Greater Manchester Area, although we do get many visitors
who are from as far away as Australia and The United States who regularly
connect to us. Many overseas visitors are travelling and want to stay
in touch with their 'home community' we have a 'Travellers' Section on
our Forum
Why do we seem to promote 'certain' bars
on SundayNights?
SundayNights would never be able to continue without sponsorship and support
from local bars, clubs & business in Tameside, if you see a banner
for a bar or business, its because they want to support us and want to
be seen by our visitors. Feel free to contact us anytime for our very

Web Hosting' which allow SundayNights use of their web-servers in
exchange for adverts on the site
What are the future plans for SundayNights?
Since its launch, SundayNights has expanded and improved, we introduced
the Forum in 2003 giving more User Interactivity and have more updates
pencilled in for 2008
